PACKAGING WASTE MANAGEMENT GUIDE

1. Separation of Plastic Packaging

If cleanable, empty the contents to reduce contamination. Dispose of the packaging in the appropriate recycling bin according to the recycling codes on the packaging. Mixed-material packaging should be separated into single-material components if possible (lids, labels, etc. can be separated).

2. Separation of Tin Packaging

After emptying, tin packaging should be disposed of in metal recycling bins. Non-toxic oil and chemical containers can be sent directly to recycling.

3. General Rules

Volume can be reduced by compression. Packaging waste should not be mixed with household waste.
